from the vice principal’s desk when we dream with our eyes open, when we allow our hearts to follow our dreams, when we rise above trivialities and challenges, when we defeat all odds, we hit the bull’s eye. that’s exactly what you have done, dear students and teachers. you pursued your goals doggedly and with your focus and passion achieved success and won laurels for your alma mater. you have put your heart, mind and soul into even in your smallest acts, trust me, that is the secret to success. you have done us proud. always remember, students if the plan doesn’t work, change the plan but never the goal. when there is a shift in your plans, your goal is within reach. never allow anyone to distract you from your goals. dear teachers, your hard work, perseverance, learning, sacrificing and most importantly loving what you are doing, motivated our students to take the plunge with confidence. my dear teachers, your constant endeavour to mould each and every student’s life, resulted in this record success. thank you teachers, you have utilized your ability to the maximum. congratulations dear teachers and students on the outstanding results in classes x and xii board examinations. when the going gets tough, the tough gets going. life has changed, it has become tough but we have become tougher and once we accept the truth and we live with it nothing can deter us from continuing to dream and chasing our dreams. always remember, tough times never last but tough people do. we tend to feel that the winter of our lives has set in but there is a resilient sunny summer inside all of us and that will help us overcome every adversity. the greatest lesson that covid-19 can teach humanity is that we are all in this together. live with the new normal. practise sound judgment and patience at a time when we are facing various obstacles and restrictions. cultivate confidence and remain determined, and move towards a better tomorrow. when you change the quality of your thinking, you change the quality of your life. maximize your intellectual potential and creativity. life doesn’t get easier or more forgiving, we get stronger and more resilient in the face of hardship. we have a choice, we can be bitter, or we can better. choice is ours, of course. nothing in life is to be feared, it is to be comprehended. now it is the time to understand more, so that we may fear less. let us all try to prevent the present scenario from getting worse. storms hit our weakness, but unlock our true strength. let’s navigate through this crisis together and focus all our energy in not fighting but on building the new. be industrious. hang in there, as better times are ahead. nothing lasts forever. think positive ….this too shall pass. stay grateful. stay safe. all the best, now and always. mr. eskalin gonsalves vice principal
