GRAPHIC DESIGN ‫الجرافيكي‬ ‫التصميم‬ I am a freelance illustrator, specializing in children’s books. Skilled in digital and traditional mediums, inspired by southern California diversity of culture and beauty of nature, and I continue to explore and grow. My love for fairytale stories started since I was a little girl. It was clear to me that an artist had the power to direct the viewer to the gates of their worlds; All we had to do is explore and build upon that. As an undergraduate, I started with a foundation of traditional arts then I wanted to take my dream of being a children’s book illustrator to a more daring level! I noticed that the influence of Animation on children was growing rapidly, that drove me to explore the medium and learn all about it. The art of storytelling, character design, 2D and 3D all built upon my foundations of traditional Art. I was fortunate to learn from great instructors and be inspired by talented classmates. This made me work harder to reach my goal of becoming a Children’s book Illustrator. Throughout my undergrad program I worked on improving my techniques and exploring new mediums to deliver my visions and ideas. My daughter is my true inspiration. She gives me a new insight and a fresh look at wha t children seek when looking through children’s books, as I always pay attention to what captures her interest and sparks her imagination. She motivates me by watching her singing, dancing, playing and believing in magical things. All this inspired me and made me more focused on my goals.
